ESET ANTI VIRUS SLOWING NETWORK

If you are using ESET antivirus and you notice a degradation in your network speed - the terminals are not updating to the server quick enough and even sometimes hangs ; then you should do the following :-
1) Right click on the ESET icon on bottom left of screen
2) Choose Advance setup
3) Choose real time file system protection
4) Media to scan - un-tic network drives
5) and un-tic Scan on FILE OPEN . . .
This should sort out the problem !
