how to make xp print faster

Need to know how to make window xp print faster at the point of sale 
The best option is to set parameter PARAMATER 199 TO 1 then make sure that you have I.bat and not invoice.exe or menu.exe in the last line of the bat file that runs your programs. If you have a single user sytem the file to edit is start-1.bat which is in the \programs directory.
If you have terminals the startup files for each terminal is in the term directory of the server (\term) - Each terminal depending on it's number will have a bat file - Eg. 2.bat 3.bat etc.
