I HAVE 3 TERMINALS ON THE NETWORK RUNNING COMPUBYTE POS SOFTWARE,
ONE OF THEM IS THE SERVER, THE OTHER 2 ARE THE TERMINALS
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SERVER CRASHES OR THE NETWORK GOES DOWN?
CAN THE 2 TERMINAL ACCESS THE DATA OR IS THE WHOLE SYSTEM DOWN?

Re: SERVER CRASHES OR NETWORK IS DOWN???
If you were doing a backup to the terminal (i.e setting parameter 249 is set to C on terminal two) then you can use that terminal when the server crashes. You just have to change drive and terminals from login screen on terminal two.
You can also then make terminal two the server by renaming the computer name and (fully) sharing the c drive.
Please feel free to call me so I could explain fully.
Thanks

You can also now use the stand alone option - which will auto prompt when server is down !
