Zaki, This new feature is best for parts and car accessories business.
In there you store the type of the car, model and parts for different car model.
Nothing has to be installed to use this if you already have a .Net POS software; all you do is set the parameter which indicates where the catalogue is on (drive letter) Paramater : 219 then . .
When doing your GRN(Good Receiving)/ or if you just viewing your stock, just press the F3 key from your keyboard to open the compubyte catalogue.
It also gives an option to capture pictures of everything that is stored.
if the picture you want already exist, just lick on the browse button, on the bottom-right next Close
Please note if you don't have the .net version or only the dos version or even if you have no version of CompuByte you can use the stand alone super catalogue downloadable from http://www.compubyte.co.za/updates downoad the file called cataloguesetup.exe - This program is not sold separately and has a monthly charge to keep the catalogue updated with latest cars etc

Manually inserting Pictures
In the new windows version or the old dos version ; all you do is insert the >1 or >22 etc next to the description of the part or in the catalogue field. Where 1 and 22 is the pictures name and the sign before the 1 is > (greater than)
Then in the \jpegs directory you insert your pictures (jpeg) which ,must match the 1 or 22 above.
Then in Dos you just call up the part then press F3 key and in windows .net version it auto shows.
Notes for dos users : You must have v.com in \programs and if no picture is displayed you may have a none standard video card.
Hope this helps .
