How do you set a quantity discount on a price

Postby basit » January 31st, 2007, 6:16 pm

Lets assume code 1-1 has a selling price of R10 and if you now want the system to give a discount of 5% for any items sold between 2 items and 10 items and a further discount of 10% if the items are sold between 11-20. All you have to do is insert in your special parameters (stock program edit a stock item) the following:

[DQ2-10=10;11-20=20;21-30=5]

Note you must start with square bracket and then capital DQ . .

The above example will work out discounts of 10% 20% and 25% based on the quantities sold in a line item.
