The bluetooth scanner allows for two modes, first mode allows stock to be added to compubyte as they are being scanned and the second allows stock data to be stored into the scanner and then uploaded later into the program.
1) For the first mode:
- - log in to compubyte and select stock reports then click on the 'capture stock' button.
-When the cursor is at the 'insert PLU' text box, you may begin scanning the barcodes to capture the stock.
2) For the second mode:
- - Set the bluetooth scanner to the second mode and then scan all stock items as they will be saved into the scanner.
- Log in to compubyte and select stock reports then click on the 'capture stock' button.
- while the cursor is at 'insert PLU' hold the scanners trigger in until the light changes color,then release,then pull the trigger once and immediately let go.Wait about 30 seconds and the stock stored in the scanner will then begin adding to the compubyte program.
