Clean install of compubyte software on a terminal

  • 1) Map terminal to server using NET USE COMMAND e.g

    Code: Select all

    net use P: \\server name\c /user:username password /persistent:yes
    2) Search for the compubyte setup file mainly found in compubyte directory or local root directory. If not found go to http://www.786.co.za and download setup file.

    3) Install compubyte as well crystal reports ( At crystal reports leave product key blank)

    4) Ensure that compubyte updates to latest version

    5) Point compubyte to server using "Change data drive and terminals" button
    - Add drive letter of server in correct textbox to point compubyte to server
